We want to open our doors and hearts to a variety of events, to grow spiritually, promote reconciliation,
offer passionate hospitality, and serve in the example of Jesus Christ.
In the Anglican and Episcopalian traditions, we respect and thrive on diverse views, independent thinking, and thoughtful discussion.
Instead of morning prayer we have a Eucharist Service on Wednesday.
At the Chapel
Mattress Making—A ministry that was started many years ago as a useful way to recycle plastic bags and help to clean up the environment. Rolled plastic bags are used to stuff a simple canvas cover. This ministry occupies the Parish hall on Wednesday mornings. Hundreds of mattresses have been created over the years by both members and visitors. The recipients are children living in the rural areas and others who live in extreme poverty.
Prayer Shawl Ministry—A group of knitters meet weekly to make Prayer Shawls. After being blessed at a Sunday service the shawls are then given to those who are ill, in the hospital, or suffering from grief.
