A Crucified Christ in Holy Week

Based on the the book by Raymond Brown, we shall look at the Gospel narratives of the Passion of Christ. Each year on Passion/Palm Sunday, we read the Passion according to Matthew (Year A), Mark (Year B), and Luke (Year C) and on Good Friday we read the Passion according to John.
Using Brown as a guide, you are invited to delve into these Passion accounts and to ask
what difference they make for us today.

Bishop William will be shepherding the exploration and discussion.

Mattress Project @ St. Paul's Church, Iglesia Anglicana de Mexico
Mar 14 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Mattress Making—A ministry that was started many years ago as a useful way to recycle plastic bags and help to clean up the environment.  Rolled plastic bags are used to stuff a simple canvas cover.  This ministry     occupies the Parish hall on Wednesday mornings.  Hundreds of mattresses have been created over the years by both members and visitors.  The recipients are children living in the rural areas  and others who live in extreme poverty.

Shawl Weaving @ St. Paul's Church, Iglesia Anglicana de Mexico
Mar 14 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Prayer Shawl Ministry—A group of knitters meet weekly to make Prayer Shawls.    After being blessed at a Sunday service the shawls  are then given to those who are ill, in the hospital, or suffering from grief.
